PS 102 is a public elementary school in Brooklyn, New York, with 1,200 students in grades K-5. In January 2011, our school administration, parents, students, faculty, local artists, and volunteers began collaborating on a public art mural in our schoolyard to celebrate our school community’s extraordinary diversity. Journey with us from start to finish at this blog, beginning with Principal Theresa Dovi’s “Welcome,” and throughout our entire “Prep. Paint. Party!” schedule.
